Jennifer Aniston praises 'salmon sperm' facials and acknowledges that a bizarre rumor about her deceased therapist is true.

Jennifer Aniston tackled several rumored stories about herself during her appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel Show on Wednesday. The 55-year-old Friends star set the record straight while participating in a lighthearted true-or-false game with the host.

Among the rumors she addressed was the claim that she had undergone a "salmon sperm facial," along with the bizarre story of having a "Ziploc bag" filled with her deceased therapist's ashes—both of which turned out to be true.

After Jimmy asked her about the salmon sperm facial, Aniston, who became emotional over the death of her onscreen father Kris Kristofferson during the show, confirmed, “I did.” She added, “But let me explain. It’s not like, how do you get sperm out of a salmon? It was sort of unclear.”

She continued, “I just took the woman’s word that that’s what it was. And I was like, ‘Sure.’” A confused Jimmy stumbled over his words, replying, “Yeah, well, I mean—if it’s not that—what is it supposed to be? I don’t know.”

Aniston clarified, “I don’t know; it’s supposed to be little, tiny like the microneedling they do. And then it was to push in the salmon sperm. Don’t I have beautiful salmon skin?” she joked.

Last year, Aniston expressed her skepticism about the unique facial treatment, telling The Wall Street Journal, “First of all, I said, ‘Are you serious? How do you get salmon's sperm?’”

The Hollywood superstar admitted to the publication that she didn’t feel the facial had any noticeable impact on her skin’s youthful glow. Instead, she revealed that she swears by weekly peptide injections to counteract the effects of aging, stating, “I do think that’s the future.”

Salmon sperm has been touted as the next essential Korean beauty ingredient. It's currently available at medical spas, promising to enhance cell turnover, boost collagen production, and improve pigmentation and inflammation.

Later in the show, Jimmy inquired about her late therapist. “You have a Ziploc bag filled with your dead therapist's ashes? That was a little bit true, right?”

“It’s a little true. I’m going to sound like I really need a therapist after this,” she responded.

To which he replied, “Sounds like you need one, one way or the other.”

Among the rumors addressed was the claim that she had previously undergone a 'salmon sperm facial,' as well as the story about having a Ziploc bag' containing her 'dead therapist's ashes'—both of which were confirmed to be true.

When Jimmy asked if she had the salmon sperm facial, the star responded, “I did. But let me clarify: it’s not like you’re extracting sperm from a salmon. It was a bit unclear.”

'Don't I have beautiful salmon skin?' she humorously asked

Jimmy then asked about her therapist. 'You have a zip-loc bag filled with your dead therapist's ashes? That was a little bit true, right?'

'It's a little true. I'm going to sound like I really need a therapist after this,' she answered, to which he replied, 'Sounds like you need one one way or the other'

Aniston previously discussed having her therapist's ashes in a 2012 interview with GQ, saying, “I have my therapist’s ashes in a bag. She saw me as a daughter, and I considered her like a mom. I attended her funeral, and they divided her ashes into little Ziploc bags that they handed out like party favors.”

She also dispelled a rumor that she had installed a $4,000 anti-aging water filter in her home for her dogs. “That is not true. Is that something people believe?” she replied. When Jimmy asked, “You would if that existed?” she firmly said, “Absolutely not.”

When asked if she travels abroad with jars of olives, she confirmed, “Yes.”

Jimmy continued, “You have a black belt in jiu-jitsu?” to which she responded, “Absolutely not.”

“Were you once approached for an autograph while nude in a sauna?” he asked, prompting her to shock the audience with her answer: “Yes. A picture.”

“You said no?” he inquired. “I absolutely said no,” she replied.

“Is it true that at 11 years old, you had a piece of art displayed at MoMA, the Museum of Modern Art?”

“Yes, I did,” she said. “It was a good one. They had a room showcasing artwork created by children from the Waldorf school I attended.”

Finally, Jimmy asked, “On Christmas Eve, did your family make you belly dance?”

Last year, the Hollywood superstar revealed in an interview that she didn’t believe the salmon sperm facial did much to enhance her skin’s appearance.

Instead, the star explained that she relies on weekly peptide injections to combat the effects of aging, stating, “I do think that’s the future.” She was seen on September 15 at the Emmys.

The star remarked, “It wasn’t just on Christmas Eve. You know how the Greeks love any family dinner. They’d say, ‘Let’s get up and watch,’ kind of like when you tell your child, ‘Play the piano for everyone, let’s sing together.’”

She added, “I get so anxious when my friends put their kids on the spot like that. I have some inner trauma from having to perform and belly dance in front of my Greek aunts, uncles, and grandmothers.”

Jennifer appeared on the ABC talk show to promote her new children’s book, Clydeo Takes a Bite Out of Life, inspired by her rescue dog, Clyde.

The actress has a four-book deal with HarperCollins Publishers and animation studio Invisible Studio for a series featuring the animated dog Clydeo.

Jennifer brought her beloved dog Clyde along to the talk show studio in Los Angeles, and he made his television debut when she introduced him on stage with Jimmy.

Jennifer explained that the book is about discovering your purpose in life.
